Check your current Snapchat score

Open Snapchat and tap the profile icon in the top-left corner.

Your current score will be displayed below your name in the middle of the page.

Tap the score to view the breakdown of snaps sent versus received.

Send snaps often

Your score increases by one point for every snap you send, so make snapping your friends a regular habit.

If you haven’t used Snapchat for a few days, your first snap after the hiatus will earn you 6 points.

Snap multiple friends at once

You get a point for each friend you send a snap to, and sometimes an additional point for the snap itself.

After taking a snap, tap the white “Send” arrow, then select friends by tapping their names. Tap the “Send” arrow again to send the snap.

The more people you snap, the more snaps you’ll receive in return to open.

Open unread snaps

Each snap you open earns you one point. Tap the red (photo) or purple (video) box next to the sender’s name to open it.
